HaruButeum Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026

HaruButeum is provided by Double J Studio. This policy explains how the HaruButeum Android app accesses and handles information.

Information accessed by the app

HaruButeum accesses only photos that you explicitly select through Android's system photo picker. Photos, diary titles, notes, moods, stickers, and layout choices are stored in the app's private storage on your device.

Collection and sharing

HaruButeum does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data or device data with the developer or any third party. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, server connection, or internet permission.

This policy page stores only your language choice in your browser's local storage. The choice is not transmitted to Double J Studio or any third party.

Export and sharing

When you explicitly export or share a finished diary image, it is saved to your device's photo library or sent to another app you choose. This happens only after your action. The receiving app's privacy policy applies after you share content with it.

Security, retention, and deletion

Diary data is kept in app-private device storage. Android backup is disabled. You can delete entries with the delete control in the app. Uninstalling HaruButeum removes its app-private data. Images exported to your photo library remain until you delete them.

Children

HaruButeum is not specifically directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before the change is released.
